Job Description

Typeform was founded when two designers spotted a problem and engaged their natural curiosity to solve it.


Design is in our DNA. From the brand to our product, it plays a vital role in educating and inspiring people in their journey with Typeform.


We’re looking for a Principal Designer to take the lead on our brand’s look and feel—and create effective campaigns to bring it to life.

You’ll work with marketers, copywriters, and other designers in cross-functional teams to deliver top exemplary campaigns and content. You’ll launch innovative ideas to take our brand to the next level.

The Role


Here’s what you’ll do:


  • Take the lead on developing the look and feel of the brand and execute campaigns that bring it to life.
  • Align the brand’s look and feel across all content distributed through a variety of channels.
  • Collaborate with our creative director and copywriters to ideate, plan, and deliver campaigns.
  • Run initiatives with the Product Design team to connect our brand with our product more.
  • Inspire creative designers with best practices, supporting them to find solutions.
  • Encourage team members to explore multiple solutions and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Ensure alignment across all design content produced by the creative team.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Requirements

Here’s what we’d like to see:


  • You’re passionate about creating powerful and efficient design solutions.
  • You’ve got great collaboration and communication skills.
  • Your impact on the brand is high, leading to an impact on the company.
  • You’ve got experience inspiring communication teams and graphic designers to deliver best-in-class work.
  • You have more than 10 years of experience as a designer or art director in both agency and in-house design teams.
  • You can handle high levels of ambiguity when coming up with design solutions for a brand-related projects.  
  • Your name is linked to examples of outstanding design work.
  • You’re up to speed with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • You’re empathetic, honest, and an all-round nice person to spend time with.
